Jackalope Coffee & Tea House is a one-of-a-kind spot that instantly captivates with its dark, mysterious ambiance and eclectic classic movie decor. As soon as you step inside, you're transported into a world that feels like a perfect blend of cozy mystery and old-school cinematic charm. The dim lighting and the walls adorned with vintage film posters create an atmosphere that's both intriguing and comforting, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy a moment of peace. On my visit, I decided to try the hot chocolate paired with the Centaur panini, and it turned out to be the perfect combination to start my day. The hot chocolate was everything I needed: rich, velvety, and steaming hot. It wasn’t overly sweet, but had a deep, full-bodied chocolate flavor that was both smooth and comforting. With each sip, it enveloped me in warmth, setting the perfect tone for the rest of the day. It was indulgent but not overwhelming, a simple yet satisfying treat. The Centaur panini was a delightful surprise. The turkey was tender, juicy, and flavorful, balanced perfectly by sliced tomatoes that brought a refreshing burst of flavor. The cheddar cheese was melted to perfection, offering a creamy richness that complemented the savory turkey without being too heavy. What truly elevated this panini was the avocado spread, smooth, creamy, and slightly nutty, it tied everything together beautifully. The panini was perfectly toasted, with a crispy exterior and a soft, warm interior, creating a satisfying texture in every bite.

This place is so many miles above the corporate chains that came in once they realized what we all knew -Jackalope is the real deal. No, There isn’t a drive though but you spend less time just parking and going in here. And the coffee and food is miles above the others!! Think craft coffee and a well thought out menu, but it’s quicker and less expensive! The people are SO friendly. I’ll always choose Jackalope over a nearby generic chain .

The staff were friendly and seemed genuinely into coffee and tea, happy to chat about beans or recommend something if you weren’t sure what to pick. It doesn’t feel trendy or show-offy—just really good, thoughtful café fare that pairs perfectly with a lazy morning or a mid-afternoon break. Whether you’re stopping in for a solo coffee or meeting a friend, it’s the kind of place that feels like it belongs in the neighborhood rather than trying too hard to impress.

This place is great, very cool inside, the staff are super nice / funny. The environment is also great, it’s huge inside and there are multiple rooms with different types of sitting. Definitely a place to go work. We got there around 10:30, there were places to sit and people were coming and going. The coffee was good, I got the Jolly Green Giant, it was great, good hummus, fresh vegetables. My child got a donut, he liked it. My partner got the breakfast sandwich, cyclops, it comes in a bagel but the bagel is less large than normal bagels which he said made it easier to eat and was a nice balance. He also got an Horchata latte. Which he loved and smelled good. Overall this place hits!

Jackalope is a little Bridgeport gem that wins you over with its funky, trippy, D.I.Y. punk rock decor. The atmosphere is unconventional and wacky, but that's what makes it great. I appreciate when a local business takes a risk, expresses itself, and doesn't try to fit into another cliché. Beyond the bizarre and eccentric aesthetics, the staff are friendly, the coffee was decent, and the prices are fair. It might not be for everyone, but I think the world could use more passion and personality like this. Skip the bland, cookie-cutter corporate chains and give Jackalope a try.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Bridgeport. They have breakfast sandwiches and a whole lot of great beverage options. I have tried many different things here and I have never been disappointed. Their seasonal beverages are awesome. The vibes are so cool and the employees are always so nice and welcoming. They sell merch and other cool trinkets and stuff in the front. I will always drop in here if I'm in the area and looking for a coffee and a little snack.

Man, I just really love this place. Their coffee is excellent and extremely affordable. Service is always friendly. There's usually a place to sit. Cool decor. Just overall great vibes for a neighborhood gathering place. Big fan of the dirty horchata latte.

I stopped by Jackalope with a friend for a coffee before heading out of the city and I'm so glad I was introduced to the place! There is such an awesome, unique vibe, the staff was super friendly and my latte was great! I'm not from Chicago, but will absolutely still make my way back to Jackalope!
